I know a few people who have done the drug rehab program that is used at forever recovry rehab center, and after many years they are all clean and off drugs. They all have a healthy life style and live a happy life. I can only recommend this place, because their program is effective and really works. It is very normal and usual that at the beginning is hard and the patients do not wanna stay, but after they are through the hard part, it is very good. The difference between this rehab and some others is the holistic approach, and they actually deal with the unde lieing psychological issues that caused the addiction. It is very important to handle all aspects of lifes after a hard drug or alcohol abuse. They also integrate many different things into their program suchas music and arts. They also provide courses that teach some new life skills, like money management or even communication. They also teach how to avoid triggers or even how to deal with situations that the person could not face before and thus ended up using. But just in general they give back the happy life to the person. The staff are also very nice and caring. Being someone who has suffered briefly with chemical dependence myself and being someone who has known several people who have suffered with drug and alcohol addiction in the past, I can say with certainty that the type of rehab center that someone goes to for addiction treatment makes a big difference in one's overall recovery process. This isn’t to say that there is such thing as a, “bad” rehabilitation center, but different rehab centers certainly do make a difference in how one will do at the individual center.
ReplyDeleteDifferent rehab centers will approach the rehabilitation of those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol differently, and therefore one might have a very different experience at one rehab center than he or she would have at another one. Furthermore, just because a rehab center is a, “good” one doesn’t mean that one will have a stellar experience there. What if you are more open to group sessions and therapies but the rehab center you go to has more of a one-on-one focus? You probably won’t have as good of an experience there and that could affect your overall recovery process.
In my experience, this is why it is so important to read reviews and articles about the rehab program that you are considering going to. Furthermore, you should also read about the program itself at the rehab’s website. In this way and by these means, you can not only learn about the program but you can also learn about the experiences that people have had at that very same program, what they thought of it, how it affected them, and how they’re doing now because of it. If you know what you want in a rehab center, reading reviews about it should give you a good idea as to whether or not that center has what you need. If you don’t know what you want yet then reading reviews will give you enough data about the program to then make an educated decision on whether or not you would fit in there.
Finally, don’t be dissuaded by the occasional, “bad”, review. Believe me, as someone who’s experienced chemical dependence and as someone who’s known addicts personally, I know for certain that addicts will occasionally say very bad things about a rehab center just because they were not able to make it there, or because they relapsed. The mind of an addict is a quandary, and they often feel the need to put the blame of their own missteps on others, and the rehab center that they go to is very often the first target that they choose.

This is a great article,and I couldn't agree more with it. In my experience with having a love one of mine go to a forever recovery it was the best thing they ever did. And it is important to read and look at reviews but to also do your research on the rehab center. We were looking at many different ones, but at a forever recovery was more suited for my love one. They have great programs for her and the staff members were all so amazing and were so positive the whole time she was in recovery.

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with this article. I wanted to tell a bit on my experience I had with a forever recovery. This was my second rehab center. I had a relapse and I did not want to go to the first facility I went to. They seemed like all they wanted was my money and to not put much of an effort on helping get clean and the place was just so lonely. When I had got out I was doing good and went out at first then ended up going out with my friends to a bar and some were like just have a taste a small sip wont hurt. But being an alcoholic it can hurt a lot and trigger. I then ended up going back to old way I started drinking throughout the the day. My friends and family started to tell me that I needed to get help they were all concerned of my well being. My sister found a forever recovery and it was a great fit for me. The facility was so beautiful, very clean.They have great programs they do holistic approach which is amazing. They let you pick your own program and not many rehab centers will let you do that. The staff members there are wonderful,they do their best to make you feel comfortable and at home. I would defiantly recommend this facility to those that are struggling with an alcohol/drug addiction.

Getting them into a good facility where they can concentrate on themselves without added distractions from the outside would go a long way towards getting through their program successfully. Plus they have so many great programs the person can take advantage of while there to help them change their lives. They will also learn skills that will help them once they complete their program to get their lives back in order and doing well again.
